THE EDDIE BAKER ACADEMY – Ages 5-6

For the past 20+ years, Eddie Baker has mentored countless youth soccer players at Pacesetter Soccer Club. With over six decades of playing and coaching experience under his belt, Coach Eddie continues to impart his love and knowledge of soccer on to the next generation.

Eddie’s experience and knowledge of the game is unparalleled and Pacesetter Soccer Club is fortunate to have him. He focuses heavily on technical development, and instills lessons of hard work and discipline on the field, while also building relationships with players’ families off the field.

Pacesetter Soccer Club is excited and humbled to honor Coach Eddie Baker by renaming our academy program after him for his years of dedication serving young soccer players and we thank him for the immeasurable impact he’s had, and continues to have on players and the club.

The Eddie Baker Academy (Ages 5-6 years)

Our focus in the Eddie Baker Academy is on further developing the technical skills with ball mastery and playing small sided games (1v1, 2v2s, and 3v3s). Our Academy environment is often a pathway for younger players to eventually jump into our Pacesetter Soccer Club teams that compete in the Northwest Ohio Youth Soccer League.

MINI KICKERS – Ages 3-4

Our focus in the Mini Kickers is to educate young soccer players on proper technique, while building a strong foundation of soccer skills. We emphasize creating a fun atmosphere filled with soccer-related games involved in each session. Players 3 to 4

years of age are eligible to register.
